Description
Korum Lincoln in Puyallup is hiring a General Manager for our Lincoln Dealership!

We are recruiting experienced candidates to lead the sales and service teams at our Lincoln Dealership. 

Daily Activities Include:
  • Provide organizational leadership in the capacity of an active member of Korum Automotive Group's Senior Management Team. Participates in the development of Korum Automotive Group's guiding principles.
  • Plans and directs the activities of the assigned areas in accordance with the policies, goals, expenditure authorities, and desired culture (i.e., results-driven, values-based, sales and service culture). Ensures appropriate documentation of applicable processes exists and is being followed by assigned personnel.  Holds weekly team meetings in connection with ensuring corporate sales and service performance and promoting open communication and appropriate information dissemination that ensures assigned staff are adequately informed and empowered to make high-quality decisions.
  • Ensures the hiring, training, and development of highly effective departmental management team members, and the respective sales and service team employees. Conducts positive and productive sales and service team meetings regularly focused on building energy and enthusiasm in the teams and the achievement of corporate sales and service goals. Is regularly involved in the daily sales and sales management process (e.g., desking deals, appraising vehicles, working directly with sales teams, customer interactions, etc.), and fulfills the role of a General Sales Manager for assigned areas.
  • Ensures assigned areas meet or exceed projected sales and service volumes, revenue and profitability expectations, and high levels of customer satisfaction (e.g., in the top 10% or peers) as established in consultation with the Senior Management Team.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate customer information records and customer relationship management practices (sales and service) that builds the corporate brand and Korum Automotive Group’s customer loyalty, retention, and life-cycle profitability. Ensures customer interactions across the organization deliver upon the promise of the “Korum Experience” of exceptional high-quality customer service and experiences.
  • Monitors and analyzes key indicators, operating trends, expenses, receivables, and manufacturer/factory communications; and makes appropriate adjustments in operations/personnel as needed to meet corporate performance objectives.
  • Stays abreast of market conditions and manufacturer developments/promotions and announcements that affect assigned areas and the entire Korum Automotive Group. Identifies market opportunities for enhanced sales and service growth and provides recommendations for appropriate marketing initiatives/promotions, advertising, merchandising, customer prospecting, vehicle inventories, vehicle pricing, etc.
  • Stays abreast of the standards and expectations set forth by Lincoln Motor Company and ensures that the staff throughout the dealership are trained to successfully meet such expectations and consistently deliver on the Customer Experience” (CX) standards and performance expected. Monitors and measures performance to ensure that the dealership consistently meets the franchisor's expectations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of, and compliance with, all applicable state and federal regulations and requirements relating to automotive dealership operations.
Desired Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Five to ten years of related dealership management experience
  • Prior experience working in a luxury brand dealership or the hospitality industry is highly preferred
  • Ability to use software programs provided by the dealership
  • Completion of NADA Dealer Academy is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required factory certifications
The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation for this position is comprised of a monthly base + variable pay based on a compensation plan:
