Hyundai - Service Technician - Puyallup, WA
The Korum Automotive Group, Home of the Lifetime Warranty, is seeking an experienced certified Service Technician to work in our Hyundai facility. This position is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
This includes:
- Receiving repair orders from Service Advisor.
- Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnosing cause of any malfunctions and performing repair. Communicating with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Examining the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Advising the Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Documenting work performed. Road-testing vehicles when required.
- Ensuring that customer's cars are kept clean. Keeping shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
